It actually seems like it may be similar to a zoan. They might still have aspects of their original personas, but they take on aspects of imu’s persona from being possessed/bound, like childish hate. My evidence is gunko’s memory suppression, like they slowly forget who they are outside of vessels for imu. It really tracks with all celestials. They're so up their own ass that even the powerful ones are incompetent. I think summers is just an idiot sometimes.I wouldn't call them incompetent; the only people that can hurt them are acoc users, which is a very limited pool, and gunko pretty easily dealt with half the crew. Kilingham doesn't look like a pushover, either. Just goofy when in his awakened form. Summers himself was quick on his feet when robin knocked him off the branch and then would have killed or bloodied her pretty bad if gaban hadn't shown up. Summers doing this, though that's a big fuck up, definitely laziness on his part, which is unsurprising given right before this he was complaining about wanting to go home already.
