Sanji uses Diable Jambe to burn away the thorns around Robin, thereby freeing her, and though everyone is grateful, they also know they cannot relax just yet. At Western Village, the injured parents are dropped off along with their children as they beg for someone to save them. Some giants try to ask Loki to take everyone elsewhere since the village is currently under attack, but Loki states he does not care and will only drop people off that are on his back right now, like he wants Luffy to do, but he just calls out to Zoro. Thanks to Loki, though, Jarul is able to send a message across Elbaph that the children have been rescued, which solves their hostage problem. Zoro tells Luffy that he needs to take out the MMAs, but he then hears a sound, which turns out to be Sommers shooting thorns at the giants, furious that everyone survived. Despite his anger, Sommers says he can still take the children to Mary Geoise since they are still alive, but he first wants to dispose of their parents. The children stand between him and their parents, declaring they will protect them this time, and upon seeing this, Sommers is overwhelmed with twisted emotion to the point he says he no longer cares about the mission; he just wants to kill them all now. Just as Sommers shoots his thorns, Zoro intercepts and prevents them from landing, shocking Sommers. Luffy then goes into the air and grabs a bolt of lightning created by Loki, and after locking in on Sommers, he envelopes his arm in the electricity and punches Sommers with Gomu Gomu no Dawn Thor Rifle, which is so powerful it blasts Sommers to pieces and causes his thorns wrapped around the children to disappear. Seeing Luffy in Gear Fifth, Ripley says she believes he is the Warrior of Liberation, Nika, as she passes out, while Sommers yells that Nika is nothing more than a bedtime story. Just then, he gets crushed by Loki, who everyone says resembles "Niddhoggr" in his transformed state. In the distance, Chopper and Gaban watch as the latter thinks back to the day of Harald's death. On that day, Jarul revealed to Shanks and Gaban that the Devil Fruit Loki ate was the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Niddhoggr, and that no matter who eats it, they will become the largest dragon in existence. With that said, Jarul explains that the maximum size of the beast corresponds with the size of the user, so compared to a regular human and even a Giant, an Ancient Giant will be draw out the fruit's full potential if consumed by one. Shanks asks if the reason why no one ate before was because it was too powerful, but Jarul informs him that no one ate it before because Ragnir forbid it so. According to legend, there was once a "Warrior God" who wielded Ragnir as their personal weapon and was the previous user of the Devil Fruit, which they used to fight the Sun God, and was accompanied by Ratatoskr, also known as the "Ice Squirrel". Jarul says that when Ratatoskr lost its master, it took up residence in Ragnir and was waiting for its master to return, but now it has chosen Loki to embrace its former master's power. Speaking of, Loki starts chasing after the rest of Killingham's MMAs, which were now fleeing for their lives, but Loki obliterates them all with a blast of lightning from his mouth, a move he calls Thorheim. In the Holy Land, Imu becomes furious to learn that the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Niddhoggr, was in Elbaph all along.

One Piece Chapter 1180 Highlights

In an instant, Imu jumps down from the top of the castle and appears in the middle of Western Village demanding to know who the king of Elbaph is. Dorry and Brogy rebuke him stating Elbaph has no king, but Imu ignores them as he notices Sommers being held by Gerd. Without anyone even seeing him, Imu swing his weapon and cuts off the tips of Gerd's thumbs and index fingers to free Sommers, and causing Gerd to fall back in shock and pain to the rage of everyone present. Sommers reclaims his steel heart as Zoro confronts Imu, asking him if he is one of the Knights of God. Imu does not reply, but Hajrudin says it does not matter as he is already an enemy for hurting Gerd like that. As he moves to attack, Stansen warns him to stay back because they do not yet know what Imu is capable of, and he ends up kicking him out of the way of Imu's attack, and losing his right leg in the process. All the giants try to stay back from Imu as Zoro uses King of Hell Three Sword Style: Rengoku Oni Giri to attack Imu, but Imu easily blocks it with his tail before following up with an attack of his own called "Omen", which sees him conjure a small black flame that blasts Zoro away, to Chopper's worry. Seeing this, Hajrudin attempts to attack Imu again, but Imu defeats him with another Omen and leaving the village covered in black flames. Imu then bestows an Omen onto Sommers, to his delight as it heals him, and the two split up with Imu ordering Sommers to finish the job. After they leave, Zoro is told to get inside the buildings that have not transformed and gather up the injured and unconscious children. The sight of unfolding carnage left Jarul speechless for a moment. Later, Jarul issues a warning to the rest of Elbaph about Imu's presence and that his power is greater than the Knights of God, which means everyone still cannot relax yet. As he flies, Imu notices Gunko in Ragnir's ice block and fires a black ball of flames at it from the bottom of his weapon, causing an explosion. At the lift, Gaban senses Imu's Haki and says he has never felt it before, not even at God Valley. Meanwhile, Loki ends up charring the frozen food at the Walrus School, to Luffy's displeasure, but Loki reasons they cannot afford to be picky right now, especially since both of them sensed Imu's Haki and need to eat to quickly recover. Back with Sanji's group, Jinbe, who sensed Imu's Haki as well, fears he may try to rescue Killingham, and sure enough, Imu cuts Killingham loose from the tree and bestows an Omen onto him to heal. Outraged, Sanji attacks Imu, but he easily blocks his kick with his own before kicking him away and causing another explosion. Then, Loki confronts Imu for the second time and demands to know what he wants with Elbaph. To which Imu answers that he seeks Harald's killer, referring to him as his servant. Enraged, Loki rejects this statement, calling Harald the king of Elbaph and not Imu's servant, before proclaiming that he is the killer that Imu is looking for. Imu remarks to Loki that if he had not been here, all of this trouble would have been avoided, prompting Loki to angrily response that he has to deal with him if he wants to bring more harm to Elbaph.
