Gunko is a member of the God's Knights, characterized as a young woman of average height with light hair and heterochromia—her right eye is dark while her left is light. The lower half of her face and her knees are wrapped in bandages. She sports a dark newsboy cap adorned with goggles, a double-breasted jacket with exceptionally long sleeves, a dark panty beneath it, a flowing dark cape, and dark boots featuring cylindrical structures. As a member of the God's Knights, Gunko is presumed to be a skilled combatant, given the organization's esteemed reputation and its history of significant events like the God Valley Incident. While she holds authority over standard World Nobles and acts as an elite guard and police force among them, her exact position within the hierarchy remains ambiguous.
Upon her arrival in Elbaph, Gunko demonstrated her prowess by fearlessly confronting two giants, brutally dispatching several of Loki's animals, and decisively overpowering the incapacitated prince. This display of raw combat strength was further enhanced by her consumption of the Aro Aro no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants her the ability to create and manipulate bandage-like strips with arrowhead-shaped ends. These strips can be detached, levitated, and controlled from a distance.
The arrow strips serve multiple offensive purposes; their sharp ends are effective for stabbing, while the strips themselves can bind an opponent's limbs or constrict around their neck. Gunko can also shape the arrows into constructs, such as giant gauntlets and boots, significantly amplifying her striking power. Additionally, she can traverse the air by walking on the arrows she creates, and she can form flying creatures resembling birds from them.
Gunko's arrows can influence movement dynamics, enabling her to enhance her attacks by creating designated paths for them to follow. This trajectory increases the velocity and impact of each strike, although it gives her opponents a clear view of her intended actions. Moreover, Gunko bears a mark that allows her to utilize magic circles known as Abysses for transportation. During her journey to Elbaph, she was accompanied by Shamrock, and she can summon other marked individuals at will by directing her hand to the ground and calling them through the Abyss, irrespective of their current activities.
Gunko possesses formidable Haki, which manifested as a massive burst resembling black lightning upon her arrival in Elbaph, catching the attention of Scopper Gaban, who noted its abnormality. During a banquet celebrating the Straw Hat Pirates, Gunko and Figarland Shamrock arrived at Aurust Castle via a magic circle. When they inquired about Loki's whereabouts from a couple of giant guards, their seriousness was dismissed, prompting Gunko to resort to torture for information.
After descending to the Underworld to meet Loki, they offered him a position within the God's Knights, which he declined. Frustrated by Loki's demeanor, Gunko targeted one of his pets, and Shamrock suggested using it as leverage. Ultimately, Loki refused again, leading Gunko to adopt a more aggressive approach by brutally torturing him with her Devil Fruit powers. Even after a relentless assault, Loki remained defiant, resulting in Gunko knocking him unconscious. This prompted Shamrock to intervene, expressing his frustration with the predicament they faced.
Shamrock then instructed Gunko to contact Mary Geoise, intending to bring the giants of Elbaph under World Government control. However, before they could depart, Loki regained his composure and questioned Shamrock's resemblance to his former adversary, Shanks. Gunko, irritated by this disrespectful inquiry, attempted to chastise Loki, but he managed to elicit from Shamrock that he was indeed Shanks' twin brother. This revelation led Loki to issue a threat against their family, further aggravating Gunko. In response, Shamrock readied his sword and summoned Cerberus, while Gunko crafted a bird-like entity from her arrows, reminding Shamrock of their urgent agenda. As Shamrock attacked Loki, the duo fled to devise a plan to capture the giant children of Elbaph and summon aid from Mary Geoise.
Upon returning to Elbaph's Sun World, Gunko used her abilities to create an Abyss and summoned Rimoshifu Killingham and Shepherd Sommers. After briefing them on the situation, Killingham noted that they would need to manually extract the children, as none bore the mark for using the Abyss, though he dozed off mid-sentence, prompting Gunko's annoyance. Ultimately, Shamrock proposed that the trio of God's Knights could turn the situation into a "game."
