Sneak Peak of the Air Jordan 1 High OG Starfish

Jordan Brand continues to find success with its Air Jordan 1 by releasing its various silhouettes in a vast array of new colorways every year. And the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG its most popular variation is going to broaden its output throughout the year with more iterations, one being the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Starfish” for the ladies.

The kicks bear a three-toned color scheme that’s somewhat of reminiscent of the famed “Shattered Backboard” series, and these early leaked images show off all of its important angles. Premium leather makes up the build of most of the top half and its “Starfish” hue leads the charge as it fills in the Swooshes, laces, ankle flaps and overlays. Contrasts peek through the quarters and toe boxes which are styled in white while the collars and ball-and-wings logos are fitted with black skin. Nylon tongues and midsole pieces are dressed up with creamy outers which provide somewhat of a vintage feel. Peep a closer look at the kicks in the image gallery above and note that these are expected to drop to the masses on September 22, 2022 for $170 USD. In other footwear-related news, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Reverse Mocha” is slated to drop this Summer.

The New Pirates Bounties After Wano Arc

I believe that at the end of the Wano arc, Luffy’s bounty will be even bigger than Kaido’s and Big Mom’s current bounties. It is apparent that the Five Elders greatly fear Luffy’s potential and even ordered CP0, the highest agency within the World Government, to eliminate Luffy as he battled Kaido, due to the risk of him winning and disrupting the balance of power in the world. This fear was so great that they were more than willing to anger Kaidou and sacrifice one of their top agents in the process. One of the primary reasons they fear Luffy is because of the true nature of his Devil Fruit power, which when awakened, will grant him “the most ridiculous power in the world”. I’m guessing credit for beating Kaido and Big Mom is going to be split between him, Kid, and Law.

Luffy will get the lion’s share of the credit, since he defeated Kaido alone and Big News Morgans will likely claim that Kid and Law were working for Luffy, but I figure Kid and Law’ bounties will also undergo a huge increase since together they have defeated Big Mom. Robin’s greatest threat is always from the World Government, since, from the age of eight, they have ruthlessly hunted her. The persistence of the World Government and their view on her being a threat would not cease even after a timeskip passed, as during the Raid on Onigashima, the World Government send numerous ships out to Wano, openly to annexing Wano under the World Government, but secretly having a second order for its agents arriving there with the capture of Robin, still seeing her as a threat to the Government and the secrets its trying to withold from the world.

This order was later seen being put into action, when some CP0-Agents chased Robin and Brook in the castle, with Robin wondering why the CP0 was in Wano and her being unaware of her being still a thorn in the eye of the Government. I could see Robin getting something absurd like 1.5 Billion bounty. Zoro: 1.4 Billion. He’s the right-hand man of the current 5th Emperor. He has defeated Kaido’s strongest Commander. I can see him gaining a slightly higher bounty than King. Sanji: 1.35 Billion. Slightly less than Zoro, slightly higher than Queen. Yamato: 1 Billion. This is just a guess, and it’s absurdly high for a first bounty, but depending on what Yamato does or how public that knowledge is, I could see her getting a high bounty for being the child of an Emperor and Strongest Creature, and betraying that Emperor to join the Straw Hats if that’s what winds up happening. Jinbe: 800 Millions. Between betraying an Emperor and surviving, joining the Straw Hats, and being involved in an attack on another Emperor, I figure Jinbe’s bounty is going to go up by quite a bit, but not as much as Zoro’s or Sanji’s since theuy have defeated Kaido’s two strongest Commanders.

Usopp: 500 Millions. I could see him getting credit for something ridiculous, like if CP0 falls under the impression that he was able to brainwash all of the Gifters on Kaido’s side and that he has 8000 followers. Franky: 199 Millions. I’m guessing that Nami, Franky, and Brook are going to get roughly 100 million upgrades just for being associated with Luffy, though I could see Franky being annoyed that he still hasn’t cracked 200 millions. Brook: 188 Millions, Nami: 170 Millions, Carrot much like Pedro, I don’t think she’d be mistaken for a pet (plus, if Carrot winds up getting a bounty, it would be funny if she’s taken seriously while Chopper’s bounty’s still a gag). If it’s based on her normal form, something fairly small but still legitimate like 15 Millions. I could see it going much higher if Sulong is taken into account and if she ultimately beats Perospero. Chopper is going to have the biggest multiplier of all his bounty will go up by ten times its previous amount, bringing him to a whopping total of 1000 Berries! I’m assuming that, if Yamato or Carrot get bounties, it will be something to help encourage them to travel with the Straw Hats, much like with Franky. Not that either one of them would need the encouragement, but it gives them a reason to leave Momonosuke and Zou, respectively.

Forza Motorsport 8 Xbox One Release Dates

Since its original announcement back in July of 2020, Forza Motorsport 8 has only been attached to Microsoft’s newer Xbox Series X and S, but new leaks from Turn 10 Studios now seem to suggest the long-awaited racing game will be coming to the previous-gen Xbox One after all.

Spotted by Eurogamer, leaked images of Forza Motorsport 8 were posted on the subreddit r/gamingleaksandrumours over the weekend, showing what appeared to be a developing version of the game running on an Xbox One. While there’s still no confirmation from Turn 10 itself, the images were deemed authentic by the subreddit’s very own moderator team and could represent very good news for those who have yet to swap over to current-gen consoles. Of course, it’ll also be fully optimized for the Xbox Series X/S and PC, meaning you’ll also get to enjoy a 4K, 60fps experience with full ray-tracing provided you have the hardware. As usual, Turn 10 has yet to announce any confirmations for Forza Motorsport 8 on the Xbox One, so it’s wise to take the leaks with a pinch of salt and wait for any future updates from the studio.

Luffy Vs Kaido Finale

Luffy will beat Kaido with his next attack. However, in my opinion, there are a few things about this “final attack” that strike me as odd, especially when compared to earlier arcs and the common patterns in other final blows. A consistent pattern when it comes to the final attack is that it’s often in the form of a clash or a trade of blows, it’s never been a completely one sided attack like we see in this chapter. Examples include: Lucci’s Tekkai vs Luffy’s Jet Gatling, Crocodile’s Desert Espada vs Luffy’s storm, Doffy’s God Thread vs King Kong Gun or even Krieg’s steel net vs Luffy’s gavel. The villain is never just doing nothing in their final moments.

The antagonist is always resisting defeat in some way. However in the latest chapter Kaido is just watching it happen… Which is weird especially with what he said about “winners needing no rationalizations”. He’s the one character who would give it his all. Similar to the first point, a very common pattern throughout One Piece is that when the big bad is defeated, people are there to see it happen, usually these are the people that need to be liberated, eg the Navy soldiers under Morgans or Kuro’s crew. In other cases like against Lucci, the battle still ends in a way that everyone can see he’s defeated. This goes double for island liberation arcs like Skypiea or Dressrosa. Sometimes the people get involved in some way to help Luffy beat the big bad. I guess you could consider the samurai as the “people”, however even among these arcs, Wano has a specific reason for requiring the people of Wano to know about their liberation: The prophecy. The last line is the important one. Bearing in mind that the prophecy is addressed to the people of Wano, this prophecy requires them to be aware that Luffy is their “dawn”. However currently we have an issue. Onigashima is still some way away from the capital. This means that Luffy’s attack isn’t in a position to beat Kaido in a way that allows the citizens to see it as his attack is aimed downward which in turn means that this attack can’t be the finishing blow. There is one more major reason that I’d like to discuss and it’s probably the most obvious. The moon is still up! Considering all of the “dawn of the world” etc dialogue we have gotten since Zou, I think it would make a lot of sense if Luffy, the dawn of Wano, the Sun God, the one who will end the 20 year night, beat Kaido after the sun rises. It would also be a nice Thriller Bark parallel.

Happy Overwatch 2 Beta Day! As many players awake to find the golden beta ticket in their inboxes, there will inevitably be those who are left without one. But take heart, heroes, for Blizzard has designed a way by which you can earn an invite to what is, essentially, Overwatch 2’s soft-launch day.

In the beta, players will be able to check out the 33rd hero Sojourn, all the new hero updates, the brand-new Push game mode, and the five vs. five rework. Unfortunately, the beta is limited to PC players only, but Blizzard has plans to open up OW2 beta testing to console players in the future. he Twitch drops for access to the Overwatch 2 beta begin tomorrow, April 27th. An earlier version of this post incorrectly stated drops would begin today, April 26th. If you don’t have that kind of time (or inclination) to earn access to the beta via gluing your eyeballs to Twitch for four hours, you can also try your luck the old-fashioned way by signing up for beta access on Overwatch 2’s website. The beta lasts until May 17th, and Blizzard has stated it’ll add players on a regular basis.

Stranger Things S5 Will Leave Fans Wanting More

Stranger Things season 5 will leave fans wanting more, according to the show's co-creator Matt Duffer. After a nearly three-year hiatus due to pandemic-related delays, Netflix's popular supernatural series is set to return to the streaming service next month with a season 4 split into two volumes. The first four episodes will premiere on May 27, followed by the remaining five on July 1. Written and directed principally by the Duffer Brothers, season 4 will pick up six months after the Battle of Starcourt. The last time audiences saw the Stranger Things crew in 2019, Billy had sacrificed himself to save Eleven, Mike, and Max from the Mind Flayer while Hopper fought and killed Grigori before being seemingly disintegrated after Joyce triggers an explosion to close the gate to the Upside Down. Season 4 will pick in the aftermath as the show's core friend group is separated for the first time and forced to navigate the difficulties of high school while a new supernatural threat lurks in the Upside Down.

However, this won't spell the end of the show quite yet, as Stranger Things will be returning for a fifth and final season. During an interview with SFX magazine (via GamesRadar), the Duffer Brothers shared one of the first substantial teases for Stranger Things season 5. Matt says the final season will leave audiences "wanting more." Even though this may leave fans feeling like Stranger Things is ending too soon, it "felt the right move" according to Matt. Read what he said below: Even with five it’s going to feel like it’s ending a little early. We’re going to feel like we still have a lot more gas left in the tank. But I think that it’s better to end there with us wanting more. That’s why ending at five felt like the right move. While die-hard Stranger Things fans might be disappointed to hear the show will wrap up with a lot of gas left in the tank, the Duffer Brothers' decision to end the show after five seasons is completely justified and their argument is sound. It's always better for a show to go out on a high note rather than overstaying its welcome, which some of the most acclaimed series are even guilty of, such as The Office or Dexter for example, as both arguably suffered declines in quality during their later seasons. Other shows like Mad Men and Breaking Bad wrapped up at just the right time, the latter ending after 5 seasons, which is considered a sweet spot for dramas. As many shows have proven, more is not always better. With a strong final season, the Duffer Brothers should be able to preserve the show's legacy and leave fans wanting more, which they might even get. Stranger Things will always have the opportunity to continue the franchise and explore additional stories via Netflix spinoffs, which the Duffers are open to.

The Batman is Coming to Debut on HBO Max

If you missed DC’s latest version of The Batman in theaters or simply don’t feel like spending three hours with strangers in a dark room, you’ll be glad to know that HBO is bringing the caped crusader to your screen sooner rather than later. The streaming platform is set to debut the Robert Pattinson version of Bruce Wayne next week, with a linear premiere on the HBO channel to follow.

This new version of The Batman isn’t connected to the DC Extended Universe, in which we saw Ben Affleck’s bulked-up version of the billionaire-turned-superhero. Director and screenwriter Matt Reeves decided to focus on the detective side of Batman, and crafted a story inspired by Alfred Hitchcock movies and famous titles like Chinatown and Zodiac. This last weekend, The Batman managed to cross $735 million at the worldwide box office, which perpetuates the blockbuster’s spot as the highest grossing film of 2022 (so far), and with an impressive turnout if you factor in the pandemic times. Even though The Batman is separate from other DC superheroes, the movie kicks off a Batman shared universe that is set to feature not only two sequels but also a Penguin-centered spin-off TV series, and an additional spin-off series focused on Arkham Asylum. The screenplay of The Batman was co-written by Reeves with Peter Craig, and the elements of the story and the appearance of a famous villain in the end already had us speculating about what’s next for the new version of the wildly popular hero and franchise. Aside from Pattinson and Dano, The Batman’s cast also features Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman; Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon; John Turturro as Carmine Falcone; Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson; Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and Colin Farrell as Oz, aka The Penguin. HBO Max debuts The Batman on April 18, with a premiere on HBO to follow on April 23 at 8:00PM ET.

Elon Musk Has Declined To Join Twitter's Board

At the beginning of the month, Elon Musk announced that he has purchased a major stake in Twitter. Musk is now the company’s largest shareholder taking on 9.2% of the company and spending approximately $3 billion USD. Following the announcement, Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal tweeted that while the board has appointed Musk, he has declined the offer, “Elon’s appointment to the board was to become officially effective 4/9, but Elon shared that same morning that he will no longer be joining the board.

I believe this is for the best. We have and will always value input from our shareholders whether they are on our Board or not. Elon is our biggest shareholder and we will remain open to his input.” The news arrives a week after Twitter has filed plans to appoint the Tesla and SpaceX CEO to its board for just one term which ends in 2024. In order for Musk to have the option of joining the board, Musk agreed that he would not acquire more than 14.9% of the company’s shares if he holds a board position. However, now that he has not joined the board, Musk is no longer bound to these agreements. After the announcement of Musk’s involvement, Twitter’s stocks surged. There is currently no official reason given as to why Musk has declined joining Twitter’s board.

Money Heist Season 6 Spin-Off

We are here to talk about the new season of Money Heist as a lot of hype is building up with the big question among the fans as to whether there would be a Money Heist Season 6 or not. Money Heist has made a big impact in the industry and mentioning the fact that the show stands out as one of the best shows on Netflix which gained huge popularity over a short period of time. It is yet to see if the most famous title of Netflix has more to offer in its title. The big question which is being raised among the fans is whether there would be another season at the time or not. Also to mention the part that we have covered a remarkable journey of Money Heist in the time period and whether to mention the amazing big experience that we witnessed from the Heist Royal Mint of Spain to the heist of Bank of Spain and though it stood out to make a big mark with a total of five seasons.

The fans, on the other hand, have also made big demands regarding the return of Money Heist Season 6 and all of the hype has not gone through unnoticed, and attention was also given to the situation. The authorities of Netflix also went on to capture the big situation at the time period and also gave out their word that unfortunately there won’t be a Money Heist Season 6 and thus there would be a spin-off series of the title. Moreover to mention that all of the five seasons of the show have turned out to be a big success at the period of time whereas the story made a big and clean closure at the end of the fifth season. All of the five seasons of Money Heist are currently available to stream on Netflix. Obviously, this upcoming series will focus on fan-favorite Berlin (Pedro Alonso), aka Andrés de Fonollosa, aka The Professor’s (Álvaro Morte) brother. But little is known about the series beyond that. Since Berlin died in Part 2, it feels safe to say this new installment likely won’t take place after the end of Money Heist. But there are still a ton of stories this series can explore. As the final episodes explored, Andrés and Sergio came from a family of thieves and criminals. What did that look like growing up? Before they were The Professor and Berlin, what did their first heists look like? Who is Rafael’s (Patrick Criado) mom, and how does she factor into all of this? These are the questions we’re hoping Berlin will answer. The spin-off series which will be coming out in the time would be named Money Heist: Berlin and to mention that the show would basically be revolving around the life of the character of Berlin as the fan-favorite character stands out among all with a different perspective. There have not been any more leaks or more information about the title except the part that the show would be focusing on the struggles and life challenges of Berlin and Professor and it would be interesting to watch is how high were the stakes for both of the personalities to come along and plan the biggest heists. There has also not been any news about the release date of the title and thus the spin-off series is expected to arrive by the end of 2022 or by the beginning of 2023 and the authorities of the platform shall come forward to drop updates about the title and it is yet to see how it would be posted.
