Saint Killingham of the Rimoshifu Family is a World Noble and member of the elite Knights of God. His actions and role establish him as a major antagonist in the Elbaph Arc.
Appearance
Killingham presents a striking figure with his lanky, younger-looking physique. In his partial qilin form, he towers over many fellow Knights of God, standing at least twice the height of Figarland Shamrock. His Human-Beast Form reveals distinctive features: dark, messy hair reaching roughly neck length, slanted eyes with prominent lashes, a well-defined nose, and sharp fangs though whether these teeth are natural or a product of his qilin powers remains unknown.
His attire befits his status among the Knights of God. He wears an ornate military uniform consisting of an orange, high-collared, double-breasted tunic adorned with two vertical rows of gold buttons. The tunic extends halfway down his thighs and is complemented by a white cravat, beige elbow-length gloves, black pants, and orange knee-high heeled boots. An orange trench coat drapes over his uniform, featuring epaulets and the Knights of God emblem on an armband worn on his left upper arm, with pockets at waist level secured by a black belt.
Unlike most Knights of God, Killingham wears the resin bubble typically associated with lower-rank World Nobles around his head, fitted with a front-mounted respirator featuring two disk filters.
Powers and Abilities
Political Authority
As a World Noble, Killingham wields considerable political power, allowing him to act essentially without restriction and even summon an Admiral at will. However, his membership in the Knights of God demonstrates that he's far more than a privileged aristocrat he's an accomplished combatant capable of defending himself without military support. His combat prowess is evident in his ability to defeat multiple giants with minimal effort.
Devil Fruit: Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Kirin
Killingham consumed the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Kirin, a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit granting him the power to transform into a one-horned, long-necked qilin. He appears to have awakened this ability while maintaining his personality, as evidenced by the ribbon of flaming smoke encircling his head and torso during transformation.
In his qilin-headed form, his physical strength is formidable enough to easily defeat veteran giant pirates like Kiba by slamming them into the ground.
Dream Manipulation
Killingham possesses the extraordinary ability to induce sleep in others, even from a distance. He can cause groups of giant children to collapse simultaneously and then sleepwalk toward designated locations. More remarkably, he can manifest the dreams of sleeping individuals into reality. For instance, if someone dreams of a delightful picnic, he can create delicious-tasting, zero-calorie food from that dream.
He can also weaponize nightmares by manifesting creatures called MMAs nightmare monsters far larger than even giants. This destructive ability becomes even more lethal when combined with other Devil Fruit powers, such as Sommers's Iba Iba no Mi, transforming victims into deadly traps.
Covenant Powers
Through a covenant with Imu either the Depths Covenant or the Abyssal Covenant Killingham received enhanced power and several mystical abilities.
Abyss
Killingham bears a mark granting him access to magic circles called the Abyss, which serve as transportation portals. He used this ability to travel to Elbaph alongside Sommers when summoned by Gunko.
Immortality
According to Jaguar D. Saul, all Knights of God possess a form of immortality, indicating that Killingham shares this attribute.
Haki
Killingham is a Haki user whose arrival on Elbaph was marked by a massive burst of Haki resembling black lightning. Scopper Gaban sensed this Haki and described it as abnormal, suggesting Killingham's proficiency is exceptional.
Arsenal
Killingham carries a distinctive asymmetric-bladed trident, though he has not yet been seen wielding it in combat. He has also used a bow and arrow, notably to burn down the Owl Library, and employs a horn to summon and command his MMA creatures.
Trivia
- The Japanese pronunciation of Killingham's name (Kiringamu) contains "kirin," referencing the mythical creature his Devil Fruit is based upon.
- Killingham is currently the only known "awakened" Zoan user affiliated with the World Government whose ribbon of flaming smoke is light-colored rather than dark.
