Cowboy Bebop Live-Action Review

If you grew up watching '90s anime, then there's one title that's surely going to get you riding some sort of nostalgia wave Cowboy Bebop. But in case you're not familiar with it, it's a show that revolves around bounty hunters (Cowboys) working on a spaceship called Bebop.

It's set in the year 2071, 50 years after a major disaster made the Earth completely uninhabitable. The anime was a resounding commercial success, winning many awards for its originality and unique story arc. A live-action remake is coming to Netflix soon, and the streaming platform has released first-look photos.

The reboot brings the show's beloved characters to life with Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) as they track down space fugitives, while also trying to escape their own pasts in the process. Despite their differences, the trio are more than capable of catching the most dangerous criminals in the solar system. For a price, of course. It's your classic Western mixed in with a good dollop of science fiction.
